1) Planted by The Creator. Germinated deeply. Grunting, groaning, sighing, moaning, steady build up caused by regular friction to burst forth! An eruption in my head streaming messily all over my brain crevices & folds, salty, rushing to my fingers hoping to be the first to impregnate the pages. Will I bear twin poems, or one fat piece of prose? Will the labor be long and painful, or will the Gods be gentle and allow these ideas to come forth easily kicking and screaming, healthy to the world, crying joyously "Here we are!!"
2) I toil on this soiled body to keep it healthy in anticipation of the planter to come when he is done surveying and exploring other fields. I primp and cultivate. I implement regular emotional rotations, sifting through this organic matter in order to discover and remove all detrimental debris in preparation for the harvest.

Hello CapCity please sign up with the afrospear forum. We are forming a collective black think tank to adress dire issues of concern to black folks. http://afrospear.jconserv.net/index.php
That was a deep post.
mark, i responded on your site that i can't commit to the demands of the afrospear, now. i write a variety of topics, that i don't think fall under the guidelines as i understand them over at the afrospear. but, i appreciate the invite.
thanx, shai. glad that moved ya! it's unfortunate that u were unable to make it to the bk expo - it was amazing & overwhelming all at once! so much to see & so little time. maybe u'll make it next year - in LA.
anxiously awaiting stories of the courtship...and the birth.
Though I am male, you gave me access to wonderful knowledge.
Thanks.
Bro G - r u willing to be a birthing partner;-)?
thanx for coming thru - maybe i'll have cigars in the "waiting room". lol!
Brother Jac,
male or female - i think we're all ignorant of the miracles of creativity regardless of our role in it:-). as a female, i feel like I imagine a car must feel on a lot - u never know if any passengers will get in & if/when they do u don't know where u're going to be taken.
thank u for coming through & reading my blog as carefully as u do. i am honored by your interpretation that individuals find comfort here & willingly open up.
Nicely done, lady. The car analogy you used to answer Bro. Jac is signature of your cool DC style, too!
thanx, Ced! now that u've come thru - i'm really DC cool;-)
