08-08-08 & Life is GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!
- New gig & a coupla healthy checks under my belt & into my savings!
- This once in a life-time GREAT DATE: 08-08-08!
I never thought I'd be excited to visit Hershey Park as an adult until a dear friend suggested it & offered me a couple of incentive passes. When I researched accommodations I discovered their CHOCOLATE SPA! Now, I can literally wallow in chocolate & not gain an ounce! U know I'll have to indulge the taste buds just a bit, too! This is part of my weaning myself off sugar process - will note how I feel afterwards since I haven't been eating much sugar these past few weeks.

Do U have any plans for this momentous Date: 08-08-08? Whatever you're doing - make it great & stay safe!
Yes, HEAVEN is indeed on Earth & I am living it every DAY! Thanx Creator for all my life's blessings!

Thankful Thursday - special writer's edition
Slowly recuperating ... It's Still Thursday & I'm STILL Thankful;-) During previous Thankful weeks I listed:
184) This is future - but I'm still hyped & glad to experience Anticipation for it: Going to a FLY V.I.P. party tonight being hosted by one of my former class-mates who I haven't seen in AGES! It's SOOO exclusive the invite says no cameras allowed;-). I'm really looking forward to the REUNION in this setting!
185) More Anticipation: I'm excited that I'm going to return to the ATL for 2nd time this summer on Friday after work for the NBCC! My first time at the NBCC;-).
141) I'm INVITED TO SHARE my Writing at a MUSEUM!!
Below are images & VERY brief updates about those events:
Last Thursday evening my good friend, DKM (along with her man) & I enjoyed the festivities at Wesley Snipes' birthday party where I mixed & mingled with a rack of celebs - including a Brother I met thru our own Eb the Celeb;-). I talked to Brother Haki Madhubuti who blessed me with a copy of his newest book. I can proudly say I had a SOBER Blast in an OPEN BAR/TOP SHELF party!! Okay, so the fact that I was driving AND had to work the next day were my greatest incentives;-). Still, I had a FUNKY GOOD time! It was great reconnecting with other alum & long-time friends, too! Thanx L.D. for the invite and we'll all have to hook up again, J.R.!
After work the next day = Friday I took the subway then the bus to the airport & headed to the ATL for the NBCC. Upon arrival I immediately joined Sistahs Miz & BklynGirl at the bar, of course;-). I must say - we DID the THANG & Sistah Miz was on FIYAH!!

I'm too tired to write much, so Click Here to Read BklynGirl's post about the event. Click Here to Read Miz's post about it!
U know I couldn't visit the ATL a second time in the same summer without stopping thru Raw Dawg's Biz & Party Spot!

Flew back to NYC on Tuesday and got it in gear for my Wednesday Bronx Museum Reading. Was so excited that my Bronx crew of sistahs-support group came out. BrooklynGirl made that hike up north & guess who came out the woodwork? THAT JOHNSON BOY! This sistah could NOT have ASKED The Creator for a more wonderful group of folk to share the evening and a lovely repast with after the signing.

Thankful Thursday (condensed version)
I've said it many times since I signed my contract this past May:
I am THANKFUL for my new full time employment. That being said: I am re-learning this balance of life OFF & ONLINE. Please blame my lack of time & not my heart for my inability to respond to all your heart-felt comments to my blog-posts! I read them all & smile BIG TIME as I think to myself : "I'm going to reply soon." Then another day rolls around & I still haven't replied! Sistah Babz called to check on me & reminded me: "You can't be up at the crack of dawn prepared for work, if u blog deep into the night." She is sooooo right!!!
How do u full time working folk with families DO THIS?
I am thankful for my COMFY Bed which I look forward to pouncing on after posting this (getting into bed before 10:30pm = YAY! ;-). I'm "scheduling" this post to appear on Thursday, July 17th. Don't U love that feature of Blogger? This weekend I'll complete & schedule next week's full list of twenty things I'm thankful for;-). Last weekend I was too busy having so much fun! Although, this coming weekend promises to be a full FunTabulous weekend, too -- with The Harlem Book Fair & several sistahs visiting NYC from BevLand!! Lord, Give me strength to balance all these blessings of abundance!

Thankful Thursdays [8 of 50]
Twenty of the 1000 Things I'm Thankful I've Experienced in My Lifetime:
141) I'm INVITED TO SHARE my Writing at a MUSEUM!!
I am SO excited that I've been invited to read from & sign Bloggers' Delight at The Bronx Museum's First Wednesday Book signing series on August 6th, 5:30 to 7:30 PM with fellow Bronx-ite author: Darryl Moore (sharing his amazing book: Everything I Ms. At Home). In addition to discussing & reading from our works we will discuss the experience of self-publishing and promoting one's dream-works!
The Bronx Museum is a beautiful facility and an easy place to find: 1040 Grand Concourse on the corner of 165th street. Parking may be a challenge, but there is plenty of public transportation nearby AND The Bronx Council on the Arts is sponsoring a Bronx Culture Trolley ride from Hostos - leaving there at 5:30pm.
For further directions & information:

http://www.bronxarts.org
142) Breathing freely on my own!
143) Able to feed, clothe & take care of my daily personal needs autonomously.
144) That I recently made peace with the last man with whom I shared so much of myself.
145) Fireworks displays! They make me feel like a kid! Have always loved fireworks - even though I picked up a sparkler on the wrong end with my bare hand when I was a li'l girl - I still love 'em!
146) I continue to love learning & teaching!
147) Bloggers' Delight, vol. 1 - which features my premiere fiction piece - was chosen as one of The Conversations Book Club's Top 20 Summer Reads of 2008! Click on the link then scroll just below the video to read all about it;-).

Bloggers' Delight, Vol 1 is still available direct at http://www.i-lit.com/ (copy will be signed by one or more authors) or on Amazon. You can also ask your local library or neighborhood bookstore to order a copy or three;-).
149) I'm a pretty quick learner - especially if the subject interests me!
150) I took motorcycle lessons years ago with one of my best friends. We got the biggest kick outta the instructor's reaction when we proved to be two of the top students when it came to actually riding the bikes - despite our silliness during his lectures! LOL!
151) This internet has helped me reconnect with several folk I thought I'd "lost forever".
152) I'm adaptable and embrace newness.
153) I've learned the patience necessary to allow myself transition time when adapting to newness.
154) The understanding that EVERY thing happens AS The Creator intends -- even the scary & undesirable life-stuff!
155) Even if life doesn't play out as I plan or hope - I am willing and able to learn from my experiences and move forward to another desirable point because I truly believe #154;-).
156) I've watched and continue to be encouraged because my parents have both changed for the better!
157) My relationship with both of my parents is genuine and priceless!
158) Going "hacking" with my dad in his taxi! He'd have a hearty snack for me when he picked me up from school. My faves: an egg salad sandwich on grainy bread or minestrone soup with black bread - I was never a candy kid;-). We'd "hack" our way back home! Folk used to think it was sooo cute & they'd give ME tips! LOL!
159) Going to work with my mom when she worked in a nursing home. I actually enjoyed helping her take water and snacks to the elders. I remember enjoying one of her blind patients a great deal. I used to stop in and visit her often. Makes me think maybe I should volunteer to go read or do something with elders again ...
160) Thankful that so many wonderful doors are opening for me! Got me feeling pretty "smart" ;-):

Thankful Thursdays [7 of 50]
Twenty of the 1000 Things I'm Thankful I've Experienced in My Lifetime:
121) I've enjoyed the first week at my newest gig! Fitness bonuses built in: my office/classroom is on the 6th floor - I've taken the stairs most of the week - plan to keep it up. At the end of each work day I walk across the Brooklyn Bridge - and plan to each day I don't have appointments or terrible weather to prevent me from doing so!
122) My independence! Able to take good care of myself! Have been blessed to live in my own home without the need for room-mates since I graduated from college.
123) My INTER-dependence! I am aware of and thankful for all of the assistance & support of others in my life!
124) Faith - it may flicker & waver -- but it keeps me going!
125) Delicious chocolates - not really sure if I've eaten any rare or truly expensive chocolate, but the delightful taste deemed it's price tag or status unimportant;-).
126) Belting out a good song & welling up with JOY in it! All of these recent music blog posts have reminded me how much I love to sing - especially in the car with the speakers turned up HIGH!
127) My mother's cooking! Especially her soups, greens and mac & cheese!! I can't eat the mac & cheese as much as I used to - but I relish in it when I do;-). I have happily eaten a full pot of her greens all by myself! LOL!
128) My fore parents' genes! We're a good lookin' family of folk who all look younger than our "official" ages. Our ancestors left us "all this" & intelligence, too! ;-)
129) The fact that I attract younger men has lead to several funny encounters. My fave funny younger man story (I may have "told it" here before but it's funny enough to repeat on MY Blog;-): Jokingly told my date the last movie I'd seen was "Cooley High". He squinted to look at me closely and asked, "You saw that in the THEATER?" I chuckle e'ry TIME I recall that experience! LOL!
130) I came of age at a time when there were many loving movies of Proud Black folk in Theaters (walk in or at the drive in;-) and I can PROUDLY say I saw them IN the THEATER: Cooley High, Claudine, Bingo Long & the Traveling All Stars, Piece of the Action, Let's Do it Again, UpTown Saturday Night, Cotton Comes to Harlem, Come Back Charleston Blue, Greased Lightening, and MY GIRL: Cleopatra Jones along with others.
131) My Movie Heros & Sheros looked like shades of me: Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson! The ORIGINAL TOP MODEL;-), Bernie Casey (I STILL have a crush on that man!;-), Calvin Lockhart (dayummmm that Brother was fine may he Rest in Peace), etc.
132) Despite my employment setback of the past two years I've been able to maintain a good credit rating!
133) The two women in my family who I DID get to watch closely as they made their transitions to "the otherside" did so with determination & grace. They were the embodiment of "Living a good life & Dying a good death."
134) Those two women pooled and managed their finances so well that they often paid cash for larget ticket items like cars. They inspired me - especially since they came of age during The Great Depression.
135) Thanx to the legacy & tenacity of my fore parents I have little concern about this "gas crisis". I come from a line of creative people who weather stormy times. I'm glad that I experienced some time with those elders!
136) May have stated this one before but it's worth repeating - especially as I am proudly published: I have met many great authors & have books signed by them: Nikki Giovanni, Angela Davis, Haki Madabuti, Cornel West, Beverly Jenkins, among others...
137) My prayers have been granted to attend this year's National Book Club Conference where I look forward to meeting more authors, as well as partying in da ATL again;-)!
138) I have met such AMAZING people simply by blogging! Thanx to blogging I've become a published author and my first piece is part of the collection with one of the Featured Authors of the NBCC! Go 'head on, MIZ!! ;-)
139) I've been invited to read & sign books at The Bronx Museum of Arts in August as part of their First Wednesday's series of local Bronx authors! U know I'll be posting details of THAT!
140) Blogging saved my life during these two years of partial employment when I had so much time on my hands. I look forward to connecting with Bloggers in The REAL world now that I won't be able to blog as much as I have been.
The First Thankful Thursday [1-20].

Thankful Thursdays [5 of 50]
Twenty of the 1000 Things I'm Thankful I've Experienced in My Lifetime:
81) I am thankful that I have a HILARIOUS sense of humor: I love laughing & like it when I can make others laugh. Laughter really does heal what ails me!
82) I don't take myself too seriously. Quick funny story that still cracked me & Miz UP as we recalled it when I was in da ATL:
At The RT convention I bunked with fellow authors: Miz & Jean. During the day the featured authors gave away so many treats & one of my faves was the lip balm cuz I hate dry lips. I assumed all of the balms were clear, so as we prepared for bed I just grabbed one & swiped it carelessly across my lips. But, it felt drier & thicker than lip balm should and I said aloud: "This don't feel like lip balm." Jean froze in place across the room, stared & responded slowly as one might to a mad-man: "Uhhh, it don't look like it, either. You may wanna check the mirror." I stepped into the bathroom & faced The Joker in the Mirror! As I wiped the fiery red "lip balm" off my lips, Miz calmly commented from the computer where she was working: "I was just hoping u wouldn't stab us in our sleep, Bride of Chucky." I know that may be one of those "u had to be there moments" - but if u have any imagination u can imagine how crazy I must have looked! LOL!
83) That I've been to see some of the funniest comedians EVAH, Live & in person: Richard Pryor (that was a New Year's Eve show to remember! R.I.P. Brothah), Mike Britt, Capone, Rob Stapleton, Paul Mooney, Rasheed (R.I.P. Bruh), Ced the Entertainer along with his host of up & coming comedians, Monique, to name a few. Only seen a few women comedians live & sadly I don't recall more of their names - but I would love to see this chica live: Vanessa Fraction.
84) I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I have some of THE funniest family members: from the babies to the elders! Sometimes I wish I could record our family gatherings - but then, it wouldn't be the same if folk knew they were "on".
85) Most of my friends are funny!
86) My college sweet-heart was a straight FOOL! Dayummm, I miss being with that lovable clown! Thinking about him still makes me smile. *Sigh* too bad going back has never been a good thing for me ...
87) That my prayer to work and become business partners with folk I actually enjoy hanging out with is coming true! My new j.o.b. I'm part of the coolest department! Where else do U start your job with hugz? LOL! And I'm excited about all the biz ventures I'm starting up. I read once that Chris Rock said for him that going to work was like going to hang out. I'm getting there! Whoever said don't mix business & pleasure was wrong!! Pleasure is serious business to me;-).
88) I have enjoyed some of the funniest moments at work while teaching! It's the hilarity of students that makes me keep returning to the class-room. Even during "hellish" dayz there is usually some hilarious episode. I attempt to jot down some of those moments because I think it'll be a great book. I love it when my students share in the laugh with me.
Another Quick funny story: I tend to be sarcastic and most of my students are aware of that, so they don't take it personal. This time it back-fired on me and all I could do was laugh. When teaching computers one of the routines I get my students into is to immediately begin to practice touch typing as the "dribble" into my class from various locations. They all had arrived and it was time for me to start the lesson. As I called their attention to the front I counted down. One student wanted to finish her typing level and called out: "One sec!" I sarcastically called back: "No! No more secs ... secONDS, no more seconds!" It was too late - they were in fourth grade hysterics!
89) I love private jokes and am thankful that I've enjoyed & continue to enjoy quite a few with my Daddy & my best friends! U know those jokes that someone else will unwittingly say a word that triggers giggles! I am always quick to share the inside joke so folk won't feel left out or think we're laughing at them. Generally, after being told about the inside joke the "new" person will roll their eyes or give that patronizing smile - which makes us laugh even more! LOL!
90) I like that I am pretty adventurous and brave. I did not always believe this, but I am thankful to BE as adventurous as I am.
91) I've mentioned this before briefly: Moving to NYC without having any family here and only knowing ONE other person/dear friend - is one of the brave things I've done. I am blessed with a loving community of friends (some are re-discovered from my past & some new to me;-).
92) Joining the US Navy was very brave for me - and it felt like a brave thing to do! Never knew that I would miss my family & friends so much until I could only call when I was allowed specific phone calls with time limits. I have a greater respect for those who sacrifice so much to serve this country I call home! I am not ashamed to admit that this Grown & Sexy Sistah cried herself to sleep for the first two weeks of boot camp. I had never been so homesick! I learned a great deal about me during that "short" time.
93) All I need is a credit card and a map and I will find my way anywhere in the USA if I tell someone I'll meet them "there". I've always liked maps - even as a little girl maps fascinated me. I helped my father read the map as he drove during family trips because "all those lines" frustrated everyone else. LOL!
94) I am thankful that I no longer have to be the center of attention. I can enjoy parties just by chillin' & watchin' others have a great time! But, I can easily step into that spot light if need be;-).
95) Thankfully, I've lived through some of the hilarious risks that are taken as a youngstah! Now, those risks (which I'll let your imagination run with) are simply experiences I can look back at and smile about - thankful I had them & lived to remember them (cuz some things are better left unsaid;-).
96) That someone created computers, the Internet & blogs (& opened it up for civilian use;-) so that I could expand my circle of friends and even improve my career! Blogging really has been an amazing phenomena for me!
97) To be alive and alert - experiencing all of the technological advances in my life time. When I think of the fact that my parents remember a world without television it's amazing how much has changed in a generation. Even I remember television with limited channels and that it ended at midnight or soon thereafter with the flag waving and the star spangled banner playing!
98) I've been taught (& absorbed this lesson) to be quiet inside. As delighted as I am by all of the technology I am blessed to sit quiet without sights or sounds each day to listen & communicate with my Maker.
99) Despite my frustration at being single - I am SOOO thankful that I'm really learning to observe couples with a critical eye and learn their "dance" moves. I'm in a very good place emotionally. I really do feel as if The Master is guiding me in the ways of loving Womanhood.
100) That I'm loving ME entirely: imperfections AND perfections. This may be one of my greatest life experiences: self acceptance.
The First Thankful Thursday [1-20].
Second Thankful Thursday [21-40].
Third Thankful Thursday [41-60].
Fourth Thankful Thursday [61-80].

Thanx 2 the Li'l Harlem Mamacita;-)
Forgot to include this in my ATL travels story last Thursday. It's a funny experience I had when I got off the 6 train at 125th street & Lexington Ave.: Harlem, USA. I walked to the stop for the bus to LaGuardia Airport. Along came this li'l Baby Girl walkin' with her mom, wavin' & sangin' this li'l tune. The li'l girl could not have been more than 6 years old, if that. She was so into it she had a li'l hoppity type of walk-dance going and everything. I looked up at her mother who was watching me watch her daughter and we both burst out laughin'. I'd never heard the song before so I came home and googled it. I think the li'l girl was a prophetess who knew I would need this on my journey. Enjoy!
Note: 12Kyle & other sports fans will be proud to know that due to yesterday's lovely weather and the playoff game - I was detained at a local watering spot and unable to "make" my own BTRadio Show;-). SOOOOO, I rescheduled it for tonight LIVE at 9:30pm EST;-).

Grown Freakin' Friday: ADULT subject matter for those over 18
The weather's finally breakin' & folk are lookin' like they're feelin' sexy with the midriffs all out
already. Me? I'm feeling pretty good about myself, too! Losing some of this "transition to NYC hit every amazing restaurant then fantastic must see & be seen @ bar/lounge" weight! LOL! So, I'm not fishing for compliments cuz "Mama" know she's turnin' a few heads. I've just always been curious about two types of people:
1) Those truly JAW-Dropping, Traffic-Stopping Gorgeous people who seem to flaunt it! While I feel blessed to be considered pretty, I do sometimes feel uncomfortable when men make a big deal out of it. I feel like I don't know how to respond, so I study those FABULOUS women who I witness walk into a room and literally cause a hush to fall. I admire those who continue on with their business - but I wonder what they're thinking. I cringe at those who expect the attention and bark orders or toss out insults to those who admire them.
2) Those who are horribly unattractive &/or obese who shamelessly present themselves in ill-fitting attire and demand attention. I don't mean to be cruel to any of God's Children, but we have to be real. Just because my thin friends wear an outfit does not mean it will be appealing on me! I think there is some benefit to being self-aware! I do believe that everyone has some appealing attributes ... I just don't understand the shameless who are nevah, evah self-conscious.
So, Are U too sexy for yourself? How Blessed do you feel in the sexiness department? Is your sex-appeal surface, physical -or- is it some aura you exude?

Thankful Thursdays [1 of 50]
Sistah LoveBabz is working on her list of 1000 things she wants to do before she dies. That inspired me to do a spin on that list! I tend to be quite hard on myself if I don't reach goals that I've set. Now, I'm going to try listing 1000 things I'm thankful I have experienced in this Life of CAP!
The numbers are only there for accounting sake. The Blessings are not listed in any particular order. I just want to list ten each week for .... um, help me with the math, y'all ... 100 weeks...on second thought maybe I'll do twenty each week - yea, I think I can stick with this for about a year...we'll see. Here goes ...
Twenty of the 1000 Things I'm Thankful I've Experienced in My Lifetime:
1. GREAT laughs with my loved ones (God knows I have some HILARIOUS family)!
2. Long (3+ hour) talks with my Daddy!
3. Peace & a real understanding kinda luv with my Moma!
4. Coming to terms with the relationships I have with my siblings.
5. Hanging out in NYC -- bar hopping with my eldest nephew!!
6. Reuniting with a childhood friend & becoming closer than ever.
7. Great trips to the Caribbean with friends (Jamaica, Bermuda, & Bahamas).
8. Wonderful, life changing massages at Jackie's on The Reef in Negril, Jamaica!!
9. A well-rounded education at an alma mater I've grown to love!!
10. The opportunity to teach at that alma mater for eleven years!
11. Enjoyed staying on the tiny Smith Island in the Chesapeake Bay while teaching & learning;-)
12. Partied in Puerto Rico while attending a teacher's conference;-)
13. Being completely and whole heartedly in love with the few men I've considered boyfriends & I still love them, truth be told.
14. Feeling completely loved by them ... despite our inability to communicate effectively...
15. The thrill of being made love to thoroughly, carefully and lovingly!
16. The rush of making love outdoors with the breezes caressing me simultaneously!
17. The joy of crushes before I knew the full extent of intimate passion.
18. The wonderfully, sweet and hilarious episode when I was a young teen and a BEAUTIFUL Chocolate Brother rendered me senseless by merely standing near me at a convenience store to the point where he had to count out the money in my hand to help me make the purchase.
19. I published several newspaper articles while in grade school.
20. I can say I'm a published fiction author!

Grown Freakin' Friday: ADULT subject matter for those over 18
Maybe, just maybe I need to give in to the need that some men I meet/date have for porn ...
Naaahhhh!
LOL!
Ok, here's my compromise. I have a GREAT imagination, so I'll help "stage" a skin-flick. Below, I'm going to list some of the BEST things that men have done for me that sent chills all up & DOWN my spine! I told the one Brother who I dated for seven (dynamite) years that he needed to write a book for the clumsy azz others I had encountered. Thanx to my inability to find another HIM -- I went into celibacy mode (no true replacement, yet... pray for me... woman cannot live off memories alone;-). LOL!
Pre/Set the stage) Start by flirting -- even if u know each other well -- go out and flirt in public with EACH other. lol!
1) Take the lead through your actions. A well placed, gently guiding hand does it for me E'vry TIME!
2) Take it slow;-) ... u gonna get yours -- just be patient...
3) Simply breath ( just open your mouth & let the heat flow;-) onto those places where u consider putting your tongue -- the anticipation will result in WALL CLIMBING!
4) Lick then blow along that wet trail....shivers guaranteed! Note: Please lick without slobbering.
5) Touch lightly and breath on any & everywhere along the epidermis... especially those places we can't reach ourselves: backs of legs, curve in lower back, back of neck, u get the picture, right?
6) Watch & listen to the reactions ... that will help set your paces...
7) Head & Face massages can also curl toes - learn to give good ones! (Fellas, this is OUR head attached to our FACES that I'm talking about: focus, please Lance! ;-)
8) A li'l teasing is fun, too. Give then retreat. Start and stop ... until the begging begins;-).
9) If u must wake us up - do so gently with incentive to join in ... ;-).
Oh! U thought I was going to spell it out VERBATIM & add images to guide U? LOL! Take those few tips and see if your partner can help U interpret. Feel free to add Toe Curling Tips of your own in the comment area! Remember, this is grown folk talk - get out the "kitchen" if you're not ready for the heat;-).
Tell 'em, Snoop! LOL!

How Do U Feel About Porn Enthusiasts?
Blog Family of readers - How do U all feel about porn? I mean especially: How do u feel if your partner needs/wants it and u don't? How do u think your partner feels if u need/want it and s/he doesn't?
Ok, I know it's a billion dollar industry. I know it's getting huge press in light of Spitzer's "dethroning", R. Kelly's never ending saga and Prim Kristin Davis' rumors. And, maybe I am just a wee bit naive when it really gets down to it. Porn - in my head - is a bit different than "freaky", consensual sex with your partner of choice where u may choose to include a porn-flick in your session. Maybe I've been 'lying' to myself to justify. Or maybe I really just don't know. But, to be honest, I tend to think that serious porn enthusiasts are perverts - like the smelly dudes you see in public libraries all day renewing their time on the computer.
The one time in college I entered a dorm room with a "skin flick" on - the "action" looked so stilted that I've never had any incentive to see another (maybe they've gotten better - but I'll pass). Yes, I'm very secure in myself with a chosen individual intimately. But, I'm not comfortable with group intimacy, exhibitionist behavior, or casual flings on vacations. However, the more I "date" the more I'm discovering that I'm in some moral "minority". I try not to register the pure shock (read: disgust) on my face when a man I'm dating reveals his interest in porn. I try to display the nonchalant attitude that I "know" that "boys will be boys". But, you know the most shocking aspect to me - is not just the "yuck" factor (okay - yea, I'm a dweeb;-) - but the MONEY that gets poured into such a past time! I'm not [generally;-)] a judgmental person - what u do is your thang, but - I'm sayin' ... what if it affects me (or your significant other)?
Please don't throw tomatoes as u leave comments - i just wanna know! And please be sensitive to my sensitivity in your comments. LOL!

The Cycle of Abundance & Growth: Leaps of Faith
Seeds are planted into earth, bringing forth a multitude of fruits which nourish our bodies & souls. Males seeds are implanted into females, bearing fruits which walk the earth. The Creator blessed me and established seeds of creativity in this rich mind of mine. I am fertile heartland. My heart toils to accept that there are sustainable truths when a man begins to cultivate my layers -- gingerly allowing those germs to be introduced -- with hesitation. Hesitation caused by prior sowers who set impotent spores in my developing heart.
Planting anything requires commitment to connect initially.
Next, a leap of faith that THAT which has been planted will actually take root.
Patience is essential because growth has its own pace.
Then dogged determination to maintain focus.
As Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. said, "Keep the Faith, Baby!"
