How do U see this glass? How do U see your life? What determines our perspective?
There have been times when I've seen things in my life from the "empty" perspective:
*Why don't I have better relationships with my siblings?
*Why am still living alone without a husband?
*Why do I have to suffer with this skin issue & extra weight?
*Why do I have to watch what I eat (& she can eat anything!)?
*Why do my loved ones (& others I love;-) have to leave this earthly realm?
Thankfully, somehow, someway The Creator reached into my knucklehead & readjusted my perspective. Now, even when that pity parade marches down my life avenue I can shut my windows & muffle the sound... I know it's still out there in full regalia, but I have protective distractions to focus on until it passes!
Now, Thanx 2 The Creator I KNOW that glass is full enough to nourish me:
- I have learned invaluable lessons from my birth-sistahs & been blessed with great sistah-friends.
- I needed this alone time to hear The Creator's messages. Now, I'll be able to recognize the Mate who's meant FOR me;-)!
- These skin/weight issues remind me that I have to get off my knees & hustle since I want my prayers answered. God is Good, but not our "servant". Remember the correct order of who is serving who!
- What's good for others is not always good for me. Be aware of my own individual traits and needs. The Creator has built me to be selective about what I welcome into my mind, body AND spirit. I am thankful that I have special dietary & emotional needs. I am Unique - relish in that blessing!
- The passing of loved ones (& others I love;-) forces me to be open to new folk (& new talents;-). Otherwise, I may fall into the complacency of xenophobia or kainophobia.
